I am Matt Dennis. I currently am in my 7th year teaching high school classes. I have spent 17 years in the middle school before that. I am a teacher in Southern Minnesota and I am always looking for something I can learn to improve my classroom.
Hi! My name is Jami Dempsey, and I am from a small town near Kansas City, KS. I actually resigned from teaching ten years ago to stay home with kiddos, and am now dipping my feet back in as a Life Skills Paraprofessional in an elementary school primary center. Before kiddos, I taught sixth grade language arts for 11 years in Topeka Kansas. I have kept my license current and plan to continue to do so as I think I want to teach again. These book studies are perfect for me as I can work at my own pace yet still glean powerful information pertaining to the teaching world today!!
My name is Abby Baumberger and I am from Brookings, SD. At the moment I am mainly home with my 2.5 year old, but I dabble in some contract work for a non-profit, and substitute teach when our family schedule allows. I taught 3rd & 4th grade for three years prior to being home with my son.
My name is Wendi Clark. I teach 7th grade Language Arts in central MN. I have been teaching for 8 years with a couple of years of subbing while getting my license.
I have two grown sons, both in college, and my husband and I cherish the limited time we get to spend with them. Yes, if you have done the math, you will see that I went back to school for my teaching license in my 40’s with middle schoolers of my own in the house.
I absolutely love working with this age group, and I feel blessed to go to school and do this work each day!

Hello! My name is Krista Weiland. I am a high school counselor in northwest Iowa. I have been working as a counselor for over 18 years and during that I time I have taught Careers, Health, and 8th grade science.
I have two children. My son, Caleb, is a high school junior and my daughter, Addisyn, will graduate from college this May. Outside of time time at work, I love spending time with my family. When we can we enjoy vacationing in Florida, but plan to do something a little different this summer...maybe the mountains.
